Sunscreen and Anti-Aging

  Introduction Throughout the ages, human beings have always believed in the healing properties of the sun. Except the sun’s radiance offers warmth and natural light to us, however, it is commonly known to be one of the factors responsible for making the skin age. The sun emits ‘Ultraviolet Sun rays’ (UV rays) that are able to get into one’s skin and destroy it from the cellular level leading to an early skin snap shot. This type of skin aging is called photoaging. Wrinkles and fine lines, dark spots and sagging are but some of the evidence of this type of skin aging. As much as possible, sunscreen should be used regularly in order to help and keep skin free from sun damage. The significance of such measures cannot be overemphasized because any amount of sun damage is additive and usually permanent.
